Working method

Tailor-made treatment

We look at your story, your circumstances and also certainly your possibilities.

Upon registration, we first discuss what you experience as problems and plan an intake interview. The intention is that the person you have the first interview with also becomes your regular practitioner throughout the treatment process. We work with a thorough intake procedure and treatment plan that is tailored to the person and situation. From the start, we look as broadly as possible at the problems and what you want to achieve in the process.

We work with a professional, experienced and skilled multidisciplinary team, which consists of a psychiatrist, psychotherapists, gz psychologists, experienced psychologists, a drama therapist, social worker and a family therapist.

At the end of the intake phase, our psychiatrist, psychotherapist or GZ psychologist discusses the problems and the direction of treatment with you. The treatment plan is determined together with you and evaluated during treatment.

Our work is multidisciplinary and integrative; we offer a tailor-made treatment plan for each patient. Within the treatment, various disciplines within our team can be used, such as medication (questions), consultation with the psychiatrist, group therapy, complementary vocational therapy treatment consultation or a skill from one of our colleagues.

Regular evaluation meetings are also held with the directional therapists to check whether we are ‘on course’.

If you have any questions about your treatment, you can discuss them with your therapist or your directional therapist.

Your ideas and feedback are welcome.

Accessibility

The CITB is an outpatient facility; you can visit us by appointment. We can be reached during office hours.

For acute, emergency help outside office hours, you can always visit the GP out-of-hours clinic in your area. There they can assess whether you should be referred to the 24-hour crisis service of the GGZ.

Waiting time

We aim to screen an application within 1 working week. Based on this screening, we determine whether you can be placed on our waiting list.

Currently, we have a waiting time of 4 to 8 weeks for intake. This depends on the demand for care, care intensity and the availability of our therapists. The intake procedure consists of 2-4 interviews.

There is no distinction between the waiting time of registration and citb treatment, as treatment starts after the intake procedure.
