Methodology CITB
We value short lines of communication and cooperation with our colleagues who refer to us. In our opinion, consultation almost always has added value with regard to carrying out adequate treatment for the patient.
From an integral vision, we have also developed a working method with options of pharmacotherapy, psychiatric and psychological treatments with which we want to realise an effective healing process with sustainable results.
From the start of the treatment process, clients are assigned a regular practitioner. We work with state-of-the-art treatment methods, taking the DSM-5 diagnosis and the goals clients themselves want to achieve as the starting point of the treatment plan.
The psychiatrist is the main practitioner at our centre. Our patients can also obtain the necessary treatment from the psychiatrist at very short notice when needed and desired.
We include the following elements in our diagnosis and treatment plan;
- The somatic element with the aim of a healthy relationship with the body
- The cognitive element with the aim of promoting cognitive well-being
- The emotional element with the aim of adequate emotional experience
- The behavioural element with the aim of congruence with other elements
- The social element with the aim of experiencing satisfactory social contacts
- The existential element with the aim of experiencing meaning in life

Accessibility
For acute, emergency help outside office hours, you can always contact your local GP out-of-hours clinic. There they can assess whether you should be referred to the 24-hour crisis service of the ggz.
Waiting time
We currently have a waiting time of 4 to 8 weeks for intake. This depends on the demand for care, care intensity and the availability of our therapists. The intake procedure consists of 2-4 interviews.
There is no distinction between the waiting time of registration and citb treatment, as treatment starts after the intake procedure.
